INPEX is strongly committed to regional development and will join with local community leaders successful in the field of Indigenous employment to develop a responsible strategy. This strategy will broadly encompass:
- Long- and short-term job opportunities with INPEX
- Education and training alliances INPEX will form with experienced Indigenous training providers
- Support for recognised trainee and cadetship programs
- INPEX participation in regional employment and training committees and advisory councils
- Cultural awareness training for employees
- Management programs to include strong values-based training embracing diversity
