For the Ichthys LNG Project, safety is the number one priority – for its employees and for its community. To reduce the number of cars on local roads and make it safer for everyone, most of the workforce travels with Buslink VIVO.
As the Ichthys LNG Project enters its busiest year of construction about 8000 people will be needed on site each day. More than 1000 Northern Territory businesses have already secured work on the Project.
The INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG Project safely launched its central processing facility on 19 September 2015 from the offshore floating dock at the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard in Geoje, South Korea, where it is being constructed.
