INPEX Acquires Stake in AC/RL7 Block Offshore Western Australia

INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) announced that through its newly established group company INPEX Cash Maple Pty Ltd it has agreed to acquire 74 percent of the participating interest held by PTTEP Australasia (Ashmore Cartier) Pty Ltd (PTTEP) in the AC/RL7 block in Australia. TotalEnergies Exploration Australia Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, has agreed to acquire the remaining 26 percent. The parties signed a sales and purchase agreement. The completion of the transaction is conditional on regulatory approvals.

INPEX enters share purchase agreement with Enel Green Power on Australian Renewable Energy Business

INPEX CORPORATION announced it has agreed with Enel Green Power, a subsidiary of Italian utility company Enel, on the transfer of 50 percent of shares in Enel Green Power Australia Pty Ltd and Enel Green Power Australia Trust together “Enel Green Power Australia”, or “EGPA”), two entities owning all of Enel’s activities in Australia, to a subsidiary of INPEX, signing a share purchase agreement.

INPEX-led hydrogen study boosted by A$ 1 million Regional Hydrogen Hubs grant

INPEX CORPORATION today announced its entity INPEX Operations Australia Pty Ltd (“INPEX”) has been jointly awarded an A$ 1 million ‘Regional Hydrogen Hubs’ grant1 from the Australian Government to conduct a feasibility study into the growth potential of a clean hydrogen market in Darwin, northern Australia.
