INPEX holds a 28.5 per cent interest in the BHP-operated Ravensworth field, 45 kilometres off the coast of Exmouth, Western Australia.

Ravensworth is one of six fields making up the Pyrenees development which has 13 subsea wells, including 19 horizontal producers, four vertical water disposal wells and one vertical gas production/injection well.

Crude oil production from the Ravensworth Field started in 2010 and currently delivers approximately 4,500 barrels of oil per day.

Flowlines supply a floating production storage and offtake vessel, Pyrenees, anchored at the field by a disconnectable mooring system which allows the vessel to sail away safely in the event of cyclones.

The double-hulled FPSO vessel has a topsides plant capable of processing 96,000 barrels of oil a day.
