Ichthys LNG is a joint venture between INPEX group companies (the Operator with a 67.82% interest), major partner TotalEnergies (a 26% interest) and five additional subsidiaries.
INPEX is Japan's largest exploration and production company. French-based TotalEnergies is one of the world’s leading oil companies, with a 95-year history in the petroleum sector.
Other joint venture participants include the Australian subsidiaries of CPC Corporation, Taiwan (participating interest: 2.625%), Osaka Gas (participating interest: 1.2%), Kansai Electric Power (participating interest: 1.2%), JERA (participating interest: 0.735%) and Toho Gas (participating interest: 0.42%).
