Update on Ichthys LNG facility

INPEX has identified errors in the way some emissions from the Ichthys LNG onshore facility at Bladin Point near Darwin have been calculated.

Importantly, ongoing air quality monitoring in the Darwin region has consistently shown emissions levels are well within government guidelines, meaning no increased health risk to the community, our local workforce or the environment from the Ichthys LNG facility. 

Working safely is INPEX’s priority, always. This commitment underpins our approach to protecting people and the environment.

INPEX will be briefing the NT EPA at its scheduled board meeting next Wednesday.
